Jack Griffith London (1876 – 1916) was an American writer. He was deeply concerned with social inequality and the struggles experienced by the working class, which is reflected in both his fiction and his essays. He is best known for writing “The Call of the Wild” and “White Fang”. He primarily wrote adventure stories, and explored themes of survival, as well as nature. He was one of the most popular American writers of the early twentieth century.
