The old gentleman realised that money isn't all there is. Kindness is gold.

I loved the way the author described the weather, nature, and emotions. The writing painted such a clear picture that I could almost see the world outside the window, feel the breeze, and share in the emotions of the characters. It made the story come alive in my imagination.

What I liked best was the old man was changed by caring for a cat.
