I liked the use of the English language. Being older now I get frustrated with modern writing that does not have the expansion that full use of English provides. Besides that picky aspect, I enjoy it as metaphor or perhaps just the squeezing of time that seems very real at my age; my life is at the end sector and it all seems to have flown by. I get this now very differently than when I read it as a young thing marveling at the very preposterous idea!
