Ray Douglas Bradbury (1920 – 2012) was an American author. He is famous for writing science-fiction, mystery, fantasy, and horror. His stories explored dystopian worlds that endangered humanity. He also wrote about the tensions between technology and humanity, as well as the dangers of censorship and conformity. “Fahrenheit 451” is his most notable novel, but he has also written short stories such as “The Pendulum”.
