I am almost 70 years old and I read a lot. I thought this app would just be another gimmick. It's not! There is a wide variety of books and no annoying ads. They have books that I read while growing up and books I wanted to read but never got to. I like the audio option that lets you listen as you read. I like the dark reader mode. Finally!!So many people are waiting for such synchronization between audio and ebooks! Only Amazon (Immersion reading on some Kindle models with subscription limited within a few countries) and Storytel (text showing for 10sec) are offering smth similar. It would be great to have accounts in it where you can track your readings and save books for offline reading, maybe adjust some settings. But the main question is when you will be able to read&listen new books at a subscription price of course?

I'm reading a book called phantastes a fairy romance there is poor clarity in the reproduction of the readers voice barely audible .and muffled ..and no display of text . it's actually a very convenient app, has a variety of classics and runs smoothly. however, I'd suggest a few improvements; pleas add the option of highlighting or underlining the text as we listen, there should be an option for changing playback speed, and complete contents of the books should be provided.

I am so glad I found this app I love these books and to have them all in the same place is a testament to your love of knowledge. I have not been able to read lately but as soon as I saw your books, I immediately took to reading a book by a woman author set 200 years ago. I have this app on my tablet and it works just fine but downloading it on my phone doesn't work. My tablet is 4 years old and I believe my phone runs on Android 14 When I go on my tablet it opens normally showing me all the books I can read /listen to but on my phone it asks me to get started with the app but won't let me click on anything to actually see the book selection.

This is actually a pretty good app and it's always exciting to read but I took stars off solely for the fact that there's use of AI. There are plenty of free to use images already available and while some of the covers look genuine, there's a lot that you can tell are AI-generated. It just takes me out given all of the issues surrounding the use of it, ethically and environmentally, and it makes it hard to want to support an app that resorts to using it when there are already free resources.
