Samuel Langhorne Clemens (1835 – 1910), is known by the pen name Mark Twain. He was an American writer and humorist, but he also used to be a journalist which allowed him to travel all around the United States. Some of his most famous novels include “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” and “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”. They blend coming-of-age narratives, social criticism and comedy. His work inspired great writers such as Ernest Hemingway and T.S. Eliot.
