Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832 – 1898), was an English author better known by his pen name Lewis Carroll. He studied and then taught mathematics at Christ Church College. Dodgson was also a photographer who loved to take pictures of young girls. Among them, Alice Liddell, his favorite model who later became the inspiration for “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and its sequel “Through the Looking-Glass”.
