He is famous for his “Voyages extraordinaires”, a collection of adventure novels including “Around the World in Eighty Days” and “Journey to the Center of the Earth”. His work has been adapted into movies, plays, and many other art forms. One of the most-translated authors in the world, some call Jules Verne “the father of science fiction”.
