Jane Austen

Jane Austen (1775 – 1817) was an English writer known for her novels about class structure, marriage, and social roles. Her plots explore women’s struggles revolving around love and economic security, through sharp dialogues, memorable characters and a detailed insight into human behavior. Most of her novels were published anonymously but are still praised to this day. Some of which are “Pride and Prejudice”, “Mansfield Park” and “Northanger Abbey”.
