I was fascinated by the unusual perspective, the quality of the insights, the seducing complexity of the plot, the energetic and thrilling joy of the writing. Just a limit: the voice and type of pronounciation given to the Count of Monte Cristo does not feel appropriate for the high level of education he got...somehow metallic... I enjoyed appreciating the power of education and reading, besides money, in giving Dantes great tools in directing and mastering its life against very oppressive starting conditions. Great message. Knowledge is freedom. Definitely an extraordinary story.
