Apparently, a meteorite has fallen on their land and contaminated the crops, the insects, the animals, the water, and eventually, the Gardners. A strange colorless force ruined their farm and broke their spirit. This short story is a slow descent into the realm of terror, as tension increases and the rural tale comes to life before our eyes.
